Good News #11: It’s All About the Completeness of What Jesus Accomplished on the Cross, Not What – In Our Own Self-Effort – is Accomplishing for God to Make Us Acceptable to Him!

And Jesus said to them, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

Mark 10:36

When we call upon Jesus to ask of Him what we need, He does not make it a barter of what you will do for Him so He will give you what you need. Jesus simply asks, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

Jesus does not make a distinction of whether you have been serving Him or not… He simply responds to every need that we go to Him for.

Mark 10:36 “What do you want Me to do for you?” was spoken to His disciples (James and John) who came to Him to ask to sit at His right and at His left.

Matthew 20:32 “What do you want Me to do for you?” was spoken to two blind men sitting by the road at Jericho who cried out to Jesus to receive their sight.

This is the gospel. That when we call upon Jesus, He does not check for whether you have done this or that for Him. His heart simply responds to our need for Him, regardless of who you are, who you are not, what you have done or what you have not done.

Whatta God we have!!!
Whatta Jesus we have!!!
