Because we live in a fallen world, no one is exempt from struggles in this life. Many circumstances are shared by both young and old, male and female, born again and not yet born again…
All people in a nation get subjected to the same laws of the land… same financial instability… same climate… same language… same currency instability and so on…
In a similar fashion, all of humanity is subjected to the sentence of condemnation and corruption that this world is under because of Adam’s disobedience…
Prior to Jesus and His sacrifice, there was absolutely no way for any of us to rise above the sentence of condemnation and corruption in this world… in fact, the only lot in life for the entire human race was hell…
Thank God He sent His Son Jesus who came willingly to die for wretched you and wretched me.
Jesus changed the course of history… now, man has a choice of either staying on the course to hell or choosing the course to heaven… and along with it… choosing to either stay under the sentence of condemnation on this world or rising above it by the strength and power of the Spirit of the Lord, The Holy Spirit.
When life gets too much… too unbearable.. too overwhelming…
When you think you can no longer go on…
The gospel is this — The God of Israel has made Himself fully available to the entire world…
making Himself known by The Name Jesus.
If you allow Him to do so, He can and will give you His strength and power to go on… to rise above it all… to overcome… and then, to thrive.
