Day 4: I Curse You, Coronavirus. Die in the Name of Jesus!

Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV)

In the story of creation, it says that the Triune God made man in their image and likeness. We also see in it that God creates realities by speaking.

This means whenever man speaks, realities are created in the visible world, whether good or bad depends on the words released. This is mere man.

After His resurrection, having defeated and disempowered the enemy at the cross, Jesus sits glorified at the right side of the Father with all authority given to Him on heaven, on earth and under the earth; and everyone who receives Jesus are seated with Him in heavenly places.

Can you imagine the power and weight of the words a born-again child of God has in the name of Jesus? It means that unlike mere men, born again children of God can create realities not only in the visible but also in the invisible.

This means that this coronavirus, which we all know comes from the enemy, is something that born again children of God has authority over in the name of Jesus and when we speak words against it, it has no choice but to bow its knee to the name Jesus.

Prayer for Today:

Father, thank You for the gift of Jesus. Thank You that You have already glorified Jesus above all. Thank You that Your Son has already won.

Jesus, we thank You that You have made us one with You; that You have hidden us in You and that You have given us the privilege to exercise authority in Your name.

And so today, Holy Spirit, thank You that You will bear witness and say Amen, when we declare “In the name of Jesus, we take authority over this pandemic and this coronavirus and say it has no right, it has no authority over this earth. We curse you, coronavirus, die in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!

Faith in Action:

1) Use the power of your tongue to speak a reality against the pandemic and declare:

I curse you, coronavirus, die in the mighty name of Jesus!

2) Invite other Christ-believers to do the 21-Day Challenge. Let us build an army of well-abled and spiritually-ready soldiers in this battle. The more spiritual soldiers we have, the faster the victory manifests in the physical realm. #21daystovictory

3) Come back every day, be refreshed and motivated, in a community of like-minded Christ-believers. Share your experiences and testimonies with others, as we win this fight!
