Good News #118: I Do Not Fear Nor Be Dismayed, For Jesus is With Me Always, Never Leaving Me Nor Forsaking Me!

Oftentimes, we isolate Jesus in the new testament. We unconsciously and subconsciously read the bible as if Jesus only showed up in the scene in the new testament.
Sure, Jesus showed up in “human form” in the new testament but listen, long before this world even existed, He already did.
John 1:1-3, 14 put it this way…
In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through Him, and without Him, nothing was made that was made.
…
And The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of The Father, full of grace and truth.
Jesus had always been there… He had always been actively working for His people… making ways where there isn’t any… fighting for His people… providing for His people… protecting them…
And in the words of Moses in Deuteronomy 31:8, The Lord Jesus is He who goes before you…He who will be with you always, never leaving you nor forsaking you so there really is nothing to fear…
And take note… Moses spoke this of The Lord in the old covenant of the blood of bulls and goats…
Today, we live in a far more superior covenant cut by the most precious blood of The Eternal Son of God, Jesus…
So all the more are we predisposed to these workings of Jesus in our lives in the new covenant.
The gospel is this — Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever…
He goes before you…
He is and will always be with you…
He will never leave you nor forsake you…
So why fear? why be dismayed?
Whatta God we have in Jesus!!!

And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.
