Risen Life Day #30: Sent to Live the Risen Life
“As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you.” — John 20:21 (NIV)

THE JOURNEY
For weeks, Daniel had been reading through the Risen Life devotionals.
Each day built on the last.
He had:
• let go of old mindsets
• stepped out of fear
• experienced healing
• learned to walk in new habits
• stood firm under pressure
But as the final day approached, a question lingered in his mind:
What now?
Was this just a season of reflection?
A personal reset?
Or was there something more?
That morning, he read John 20:21.
“As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you.”
He paused.
This wasn’t just encouragement.
It was a commission.
Everything he had been learning wasn’t meant to stay with him.
It was meant to move through him.
Later that day, as he went about his normal routine, something shifted in how he saw people.
The coworker he usually overlooked.
The neighbor he rarely spoke to.
The friend who seemed distant.
They weren’t just part of his environment.
They were part of his assignment.
Daniel realized something powerful:
The Risen Life is not just something you experience.
It is something you are sent to carry.
Heart of the Matter
The resurrection was never meant to be the end of the story.
It was the beginning of a mission.
After rising from the dead, Jesus didn’t tell His disciples to simply celebrate.
He sent them.
“As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you.”
This statement carries weight.
Jesus was sent with purpose:
• to bring truth
• to demonstrate love
• to restore what was broken
• to reveal the Kingdom of God
And now—He passes that mission on.
The Risen Life is not passive.
It is active.
It moves.
It reaches.
It impacts.
Here is the dynamic of the Risen Life:
You love God by stepping into the life He has called you to live—intentionally, boldly, and faithfully.
You recognize that your life carries purpose beyond yourself.
He loves you back by working through you to impact others, extend His Kingdom, and reveal His presence in the world.
Your life becomes a vessel of His power, grace, and truth.
This is the culmination:
You are not just saved.
You are sent.
Everything you have experienced—freedom, healing, boldness, joy, faithfulness—
is meant to flow outward.
The same power that raised Christ from the dead is now at work in you—
and through you.
Heart of the Matter
The Risen Life is lived on mission.
The Challenge:
Today, shift your perspective.
Wherever you go—see it as an assignment.
Ask yourself:
• Who can I encourage today?
• Where can I show kindness?
• When can I share truth?
• How can I reflect Christ in this moment?
Write this declaration:
“I am sent to live the Risen Life.”
Then live intentionally.
Not perfectly.
But purposefully.
Faith in Action

The Challenge:
Today, shift your perspective.
Wherever you go—see it as an assignment.
Ask yourself:
• Who can I encourage today?

Write this declaration:
“I am sent to live the Risen Life.”

Not perfectly.
But purposefully.
Prayer for the Day
Risen Lord, thank You for everything You have done in my life. Thank You for new life, for healing, for strength, and for transformation. But today, I recognize that this is not the end—it is the beginning. You have called me, and You have sent me. Help me to live with purpose, to walk in boldness, and to reflect Your love in everything I do. Use my life to impact others and to reveal Your truth. Thank You that I am not only saved, but sent. In Your name, Amen.
