Good News #184: With Jesus as My Wisdom, I Am Continuously Being Guided and Led as I Go Through Life!

Looking at the world today, it’s not hard to discern that the world is in darkness… not literal darkness but a darkness far beyond what the eye could see.

There is rampancy of societal, political, environmental, moral decay, etc… even the unborn is not immune to the corruption in moral values as millions of babies are getting aborted each year.

This is not a surprise to our God. In fact, He had the prophet Isaiah speak about this so His people would know what to expect…

Isaiah 60:2a says:
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people.

But then, this verse does not stop there…

Isaiah 60:2b says:
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.

This means that His people will be set apart from what is happening from the earth and the earth’s people.

Holy Scripture is The Word of God..
Jesus is the The Word made flesh.
Holy Scripture is Jesus and Jesus is Holy Scripture.

1 Corinthians 1:30 says that Christ Jesus is Wisdom from God for us.
In John 8:12 and 9:5, Jesus Himself said “I am the light of the world.”

The gospel is this — Scripture is heaven’s gift of documented divine wisdom for us to benefit from and Jesus is Scripture made flesh… the same Jesus who is Wisdom from God and Light of the World… is the same Jesus that Scripture speaks of and in Scripture, one will find all manners of instruction, guidance, discernment, etc… on how to navigate through this present life so you will never grope in darkness… in fact, you won’t just survive but thrive…

Whatta God we have!
What Wisdom and Light we have in Jesus!
