Good News #181: Because Jesus is the Light of the World, I Allow Him to Shine His Light Into All the Darkened Areas of My Life!
Humanity’s vision is limited. We don’t know what’s going to happen next… not the next day… not the next hour… not even the very next second…
Even our capacity to grasp what is happening in the present moment is limited. We don’t see what’s happening around the corner… not in the next building… not in the next room… not even what is right behind us…
This is why we can never put our confidence on man… which includes our very own selves.
Psalm 118:8 says:
It is better to trust in the Lord
Than to put confidence in man.
The best way to live life is to put our trust in The Lord because our God sees all, hears all and knows all.
What is obscure, dark, complex, mysterious, baffling to us is clear, plain and simple to our God.
Even darkness is not dark to Him.
The gospel is this — Jesus, the express image of our God, is the Light of the World. There is nothing that baffles our God. He alone can give us the clearest direction for our lives because where we see darkness, His light overcomes it.
Even darkness is not dark for Him.
Why don’t you ask Jesus to light up all the dark spaces of your life…
He will gladly do so for you.
