Good News #177: Jesus is Tirelessly Working Day and Night to Keep and Preserve Me!

We are all limited in a lot of things… one of which is our capacity to protect ourselves and our loved ones.

No matter how much we try to plan things out and hover over every detail of our lives to make sure we are safe and secure, we cannot… at some point, we have to let go of the consciousness of everything around us when we get some sleep.

In and of ourselves, we cannot really watch over ourselves and our loved ones all the time.

But thank God He did not leave it up to us to do so… He made Himself available to us to be our Protector, if we let Him… and what a Protector He is… because He hears all… sees all… knows all…

Proverbs 15:3 says:
The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.

and… He never tires… He never gets exhausted… He neither has to slumber nor sleep…

Psalm 121:3-4 says:
He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The gospel is this — The Lord Jesus willingly wants to be our Protector because He knows the limits of our capacities… He wants to watch over you and your loved ones so that you can rest easy in Him and truly enjoy life.

Will you let Him?
