Good News #121: With Jesus Christ in Me, My Life is Renewed with the Victory of Heaven!

Everyone born into this world is born a slave to a background, a past or a history… one way or another… in some shape or form…
e.g.,
family’s medical history,
family’s financial history,
family’s religious history,
family’s educational history,
and so on…

All these differ from person to person but one thing is common for all of us, regardless of nation or age or gender or family background… it is that we all share the same exact history of how we became sinners — that is, through Adam’s disobedience.

On our own after Adam fell, the only destiny available for us is eternal death that starts from the moment we were born with the sure ending of eternity in hell… that’s it.

But Praise God for His divine intervention by sending His Son Jesus, who willingly became Man in sinless flesh and stepped into man’s history to create a totally new path, a totally new destiny… one that had never before been made possible and available… one that is only possible and available IN and THROUGH Christ Jesus.

Listen, the moment you believe in and receive Jesus, you experience a rebirth in your spirit and with it, your destiny is rewritten with the blueprint of heaven… your present and your future stops being subject to your natural background and natural history…

2 Corinthians 5:17 puts it this way…
…if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Being born again, you were born into the family of God…
His medical history is now your medical history [Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24, 1 John 4:17b]
His citizenship is now your citizenship [Philippians 3:20]
His prosperity is now your prosperity [Psalm 50:10-12, 2 Corinthians 8:9]
His wisdom is now yours [1 Corinthians 1:30, 1 Corinthians 2:16]
His Spirit now dwells in you [1 Corinthians 3:16, 1 Corinthians 6:19, 1 John 4:4b]
and much more…

The gospel is this — Jesus makes you and everything about you new.
Whatta God we have!
Jesus is the gospel!
