Good News #105: Eternal Redemption is Mine Because I Believed and Received What Jesus Had Done for Me!

Today, many Christians, despite being born again in the Spirit, have this wrong notion that they are yet to stand before God’s throne and be judged for their sins after being born again. This is a lie from the pit of hell sent to deceive them and keep them in a life of bondage.

Listen…
…either the sacrificial work of Jesus is finished…OR it is not…
…either the sacrificial work of Jesus is perfect…OR it is not…
…either the sacrificial work of Jesus is complete…OR it is not…

If we say that the sacrificial work of Jesus in atoning for sins is a finished, perfect and complete work, then His work needs NONE of our efforts to complete it. His work remains finished, perfect and complete on its own. The only part we have is to believe in Him and receive the eternal forgiveness of sins as a result of His work.

This is obviously not to advocate for a sinful lifestyle because while you are still saved and God loves you, such lifestyle will only heap up, not punishments from God but unnecessary painful natural consequences.

But the bible is clear — “It is finished!”

And because it is, we receive eternal redemption and we are forever perfected in the eyes of The perfectly holy God, which means when we stand before God, we won’t be standing there for judgment because all our sins have been judged and punished in the body of our Lord Jesus.

Hebrews 9:12 says…
Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained ETERNAL REDEMPTION.

and Hebrews 10:14 says…
For by one offering He has PERFECTED FOREVER those who are being SANCTIFIED.

When the bible says eternal, it means eternal.
When it says forever, it means forever.

The gospel is this — everyone who has believed and received Jesus and what He has done will no longer stand in judgment for sins. They have already passed from death to life.

The work of Jesus is not just finished, complete and perfect. It is eternal and irreversible.
Whatta Saviour and Redeemer we have in Jesus!
Jesus is the gospel!
