Good News #63: With Christ Jesus’ Spirit of Life in Me, I Have Been Freed from the Law of Sin and Death!

Death is both an entity and a state of being (opposite to life).

Jesus has conquered death in all its essence and everything it stands for.

And because of what Jesus did, everyone who believes in Him and His sacrifice on the cross can then speak boldly what 1 Corinthians 15:55 says…
“O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”

Death has no hold on any one who receives Jesus as Lord and Saviour and believe in what He did at the cross — a sacrifice to atone for sins and pay for the price of freedom from sin and death.

If you believe in Jesus, you need to understand that death in all its shape and form (e.g., sickness, infection, decay, disease, depression, etc) is far below you…

The book of Ephesians says that God has raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places IN CHRIST JESUS, [Ephesians 2:6]…
of whom…
God raised from the dead and seated at His right hand in heavenly places, FAR ABOVE all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. [Ephesians 1:20-21]

In other words, Jesus is far above all of satan and his minions…
and God placed us (who believe in Jesus) IN CHRIST JESUS making us far above satan and his minions as well.

But until we understand this, the enemy can bully us into receiving from him manifestations of death like sickness and diseases in our bodies through his lies and deception.

The only power the enemy has are deception and lies. This is why the real gospel truth matters and this truth is a matter of life and death for all of us.
Only truth dispels the power of lies and deception.

The gospel is this — If you believe in Jesus, the law at work in your life is the law of the Spirit of life which means the Holy Spirit who dwells in you is giving you life from within…and this Holy Spirit is greater than the enemy who is outside (in the world) trying to inflict death on you from the outside with his lies.

Read the bible and find out for yourself the truths that it holds about who our God is and what He has done for us through His Son Jesus Christ.

The gospel of Christ is truly good news.
