Day 7: As I Declare the Name of Jesus in My Life, the Enemy – the Devil – Flees!

Our combat with the devil always should be with the consciousness that we have authority always over him because he is a defeated foe – the Lord Jesus Christ defeated him for us.

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.

Philippians 2: 9-10

Jesus Has Authority Over All Including Hell

We receive the authority when we are born again. As we are made new creatures in Christ Jesus, we inherit the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and we can use it in prayer against the enemy. – Kenneth E. Hagin

Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. – Luke 10:19

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. – James 4:7

Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. – 1 John 4:4

And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover. – Mark 16:17-18

Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. – Ephesians 1:21
