Day 5: As I Hear More About Jesus, His Grace Abounds in My Life!

Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the Word of Christ.

Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”

Mark 4:24-25

Take Heed What You Hear

A wise man will hear and increase in learning,
And a man of understanding will acquire wise counsel – Proverbs 1:5

But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn,
That shines brighter and brighter until the full day. – Proverbs 4:18

But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. – Romans 5:15

For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. – Roman 5:17

but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. – 2 Peter 3:18

but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ. – Ephesians 4:15

Finally then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us instruction as to how you ought to walk and please God (just as you actually do walk), that you excel still more. – 1 Thessalonians 4:1

so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. – Colossians 1:10

Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy in the faith. – Philippians 1:25
