Jesus is My Guarantee of the Fulfillment of God’s Promises in My Life!
Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.”
Jeremiah 1:12 [NKJV]
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
Isaiah 55:11 [NKJV]
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
In the old covenant, the blessings and promises of God were dependent on man’s obedience to the law.
But when Jesus came and fulfilled the law and the prophets (Matthew 5:17), all blessings and promises of God became all dependent on the obedience of Jesus Christ.
In His faithfulness and steadfast obedience to the Father, Jesus died with humanity’s disobediences paying the full price and more for all of us so that today, we are free from the curses of disobedience yet gainers of the blessings of the obedience of Jesus for all of us. (Galatians 3:13-14)
Today, as we speak forth, confess and declare the promises of God, The Lord God watches over these words and performs it because it has been paid for by the blood of the Eternal God Himself through Christ Jesus.
