Jesus is My Identity

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

While everyone who believes in Jesus remains in this world, they are no longer of this world.

The moment one receives Jesus, he becomes a citizen of heaven (Philippians 3:20) because their old nature dies and they become new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17). They become born again like what Jesus told Nicodemus (John 3:3) because they have received what Jesus purchased by His blood for them to have — a brand new spirit.

Even more, Jesus does not just make them born in the Spirit but God The Father Himself hides everyone who believes in Jesus in Christ Jesus.

This is why, today, if you believe in Jesus, God The Father sees Jesus when He looks at you, why? Because you are hidden in Jesus and just like what 1 John 4:17 says, “as Jesus is, so are you in this world.”
