Day 13: Freedom is Mine in Christ Jesus, I Am No Longer a Slave to Guilt and Condemnation

There was a time, prior to receiving Jesus Christ as our Lord, Savior and Redeemer, when we were slaves to sin, and with it came along the guilt and condemnation, shame and bondage. Without Jesus, whatever we did, on our own and with our own effort, did not and cannot make us right with God. It was a struggle. Now, as Christ-believers, we have been freed from the prison of sin. This is our inheritance and children of the Most High God!

So today, know and believe that as Christ-believers we are free. Free from condemnation, shame, bondage and the strongholds that so easily bind us up.
And thank God that it was for freedom that Christ set us free. And how can we thank Him for what He’s done in us and for us? Own it. Walk in it. Live in it.

“For freedom, Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to the yoke of slavery.”

Galatians 5:1 (ESV)
