Good News #347: In Jesus’ Presence, Confusion Goes Away; For I Am in Him, I Have His Peace!

Confusion causes chaos.

Many things are drawing our attention, and when we are not careful, these pull us away from a state of peace into a state of confusion which births wrong decisions and chaos in our lives… anxieties, panic attacks, indecisions, fears… sicknesses, and diseases… and bondages and addictions.

But the bible is clear — Our God is The God of peace who crushes satan under your feet. (Romans 16:20)

Do you know that the word “peace” in the bible is not just about being calm mentally?

Because Jesus is Jewish, let’s see how the word “peace” which is “shalom” in Hebrew, is truly defined because Jesus is The Lord of peace, and it is He who breathed upon us His Spirit and says “Peace (shalom) be with you! My peace (shalom) I give you.”

Shalom (in Hebrew) is described as completeness, safety, soundness (in the body), welfare, health, prosperity, peace, quiet, tranquility, contentment, peace used in human relationships, and peace with God, especially in our covenant relationship and peace from war.

In a nutshell, shalom is a state where nothing is missing, and nothing is broken in your life. The state of shalom means there is no confusion because everything is integrated, whole, complete, and functioning optimally.

This is the state that Jesus offers every one of us; if we dare take up His offer, confusion melts away. Confusion loses its grip on your life, and peace (shalom) will overcome you.

The gospel is this — you are not built for confusion, chaos, and madness.
God never created mankind to be placed in a state of madness.
God designed mankind to be in constant communion (relationship) with Him where there is no confusion, only peace.
Let The Lord Jesus, The Lord of peace, take you out of confusion.

For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
