Good News #236: When I Receive Jesus as My Lord and Savior, The Holy Spirit Immediately Dwells in Me Fully!

For most Christians, when they decide to believe and receive Jesus into their lives, they don’t go through what the apostle Paul went through — scales falling off his eyes.

Most rebirths (being born again by faith in Jesus) happen quietly without any visible drama.

Yet we know that in the spirit, something spectacular happens in the rebirth. Our old spirit dies and a brand new spirit is given to us…

The Lord has spoken about this in Ezekiel 36:26. He said:
“…I will put a new spirit within you…”

(2 Corinthians 5:17 calls those who are in Christ as “new creations” because our old nature dies and we get a brand new one, one that is identical to Jesus.)

Then in Ezekiel 36:27, The Lord also said:
“I will put My Spirit within you…”

(1 Corinthians 6:19 says the believer’s body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in him/her).

The born again christians’ experience of the manifestations of the things God has for them progresses… but not in the case of the rebirth nor with the giving of the Holy Spirit.

The gospel is this — At the moment of rebirth, The Holy Spirit is giving in full… not partially… not gradually.
In believing and receiving Jesus, the Holy Spirit’s presence being in you is immediate…
And His presence in you is permanent.
