Good News #229: Just Call on Jesus and He Can and Will Cease the Enemy’s Wars Against You and Your Loved Ones!
Whether we admit it or not, the reality is that we are caught in an age-old battle… one that the enemy has waged against The Most High…
But we already know the war is over and Jesus had completely won it.
Yet because the enemy, an already defeated foe, does not play fair… he still keeps on attacking God’s creation… the enemy cannot attack God so what he does is attack what God has created… and that’s what he does because there is nothing but evil and hatred in him.
Our being created in God’s image reminds the enemy of God and how God had utterly defeated him through the cross, death and resurrection of Jesus. That’s why the enemy hates humanity.
Mankind would be utterly hopeless if not for our Lord Jesus.
There really is nothing we can do on our own to save us from the destructive works of the enemy.
Thank God that He sent His Son Jesus to destroy the works of the enemy and fight the war we can never win.
And boy did Jesus utterly disarm, defeat and disempower the enemy.
Today, even if the defeated enemy carries on with attacks against humanity, those who are in Christ have a blessed assurance that these attacks will never prosper.
The gospel is this — Jesus had won the greatest war of all time against the enemy.
Because He had done so, the wars the enemy wages against every child of God and their families He can end them, too.
No weapon against you shall prosper in Jesus’ Name.
Jesus is The Ultimate Victor.
