Good News #25: God is Always with Me and Not Even Sin Can Separate Me From His Love!

“teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Matthew 28:20

The gospel is clear.

When you believe in Jesus and receive Him as your Lord and Saviour, you immediately experience a rebirth. You become a new creation [2 Corinthians 5:17] and your body becomes the temple of the Holy Spirit [1 Corinthians 6:19].

While a christian’s spirit is perfected permanently and eternally, we still commit sinful actions because our souls (where memories, thoughts, desires reside) need daily renewal. Don’t let the religious fool you into thinking they’ve become perfect in their behaviours, actions and even in their thoughts. In fact, fear, doubt, worrying…are sins [Revelation 21:8] so while they don’t commit outward sinful actions, no one is exempt from falling short inwardly. Everyone commits sin.

And while we NEVER, EVER encourage sinning because the consequences (not punishments from God) will make us suffer, the gospel is very clear that when we stumble and commit sinful actions, we do not forfeit the presence of the Lord Jesus in a believer’s life. His presence is constant, permanent and eternal because…

The gospel is NOT about man’s goodness.
The gospel is about God’s goodness… God’s grace… Jesus’ sacrifice, His death, burial and resurrection.
The gospel is about all of God promises being Yes in Jesus and in Jesus Amen [3 Corinthians 1:20]…

and Jesus promised to be with you who believe in Him ALWAYS, even to the end of the age.

Whatta God we have!
Whatta Saviour we have in Jesus!
