Good News #4: Jesus Came Not to Condemn But to Empower Us to Sin No More!

She said, “No one, Lord.”
And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”
John 8:11

It is important to get the sequence and order of how Jesus said it. Otherwise, we will be speaking of and acting according to a doctrine that is contrary to the heart of Jesus Himself.

The gospel has NEVER BEEN about how good we are or are not…how obedient we are or are not…how much we have served or have not…how much we have sacrificed or have not…

The gospel HAS ALWAYS BEEN and WILL ALWAYS BE about the goodness of God, the obedience of Jesus, the ministry of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus and so on.

Or do we not know that the goodness of God leads to repentance? {Romans 2:4}
