Good News #15: Healing is a Grace-Gift, Paid for By the Stripes of Jesus and His Finished Work!

When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.

Luke 4:40

The gospel (good news) is that Jesus makes healing available for all and all who believes in Him and who are brought to Him receives the gift of healing.

Nowhere in the Bible do we find Jesus refusing to heal anyone who comes to Him or are brought to Him.

Nowhere in the Bible do we find Jesus checking for whether these people have sacrificed enough, served enough or fully obeyed the law before He healed them.

He simply healed all who came to Him.

Jesus is the gospel.
Jesus is the good news.
His heart, grace, mercy, love and compassion that are accounted for in multiple accounts throughout the gospels is the good news.

And Jesus believes in the best of humanity that when they receive His goodness towards them, His goodness will lead them to repentance [Romans 2:4].

Whatta God we have!
Whatta Jesus we have!
Jesus is the gospel and He truly is Good News.
