Good News #355: Jesus Was Made Poor on the Cross So I Can Enjoy Days of Prosperity and Years of Goodness Right Now!

Only an evil and wicked master would want to impoverish those who obey and serve.

There is no evil in our God. He hates wickedness because wickedness destroys lives.

God gave us instructions in His word to set ourselves apart and avoid the fatal consequences of sinful actions. These instructions are not even for Himself… these instructions are for us to prosper and to keep us from harm.

He does not even force us into it. He respects our free choice… but He spoke His words of counsel and instruction to guide us away from harm and into days of pleasantness and prosperity in every area of our life… it is our choice.

Take note that bible prosperity is not just about money… money is only a byproduct and money is a very very little part of true Bible prosperity.
God defines prosperity as that where whatever we do prospers which in the natural will result in material wealth.

Psalm 1:3 talks about the blessed man:
He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

If you’re prospering in your career, wouldn’t you get promoted and earn more?
If you’re prospering in your business, wouldn’t you get more customers and earn more?
If you’re prospering in your family life, wouldn’t you have days of pleasantness where you’re enjoying life and in turn, you are able to do more in your profession and earn more?
If you’re prospering in your health, wouldn’t you get more creative, more productive, more active, and more innovative?
and so on…

God is a God who makes Himself and His wisdom available for us to prosper… if we obey and serve Him, then it is only but natural for us to be living in prosperity and pleasantness.

The gospel is this — The sacrifice of Jesus on the cross made adoption into the family of God as sons and daughters available to everyone who believes in Him.
If God wants His servants to prosper, much more does He want it for His very own children for whom Jesus shed His blood and died at the cross.

If they obey and serve Him,
They shall spend their days in prosperity,
And their years in pleasures.
