Good News #348: By Believing in Jesus as My Savior, Redeemer, and Deliverer, I Am Fulfilling the Will of God, the Father!

There is a spirit of hopelessness and desperation that plague some people today. They think they are so far gone that the grace of our Lord Jesus cannot reach them and that God will never turn to pursue them.

Some think their past or their present is causing God to no longer will for them to be saved, delivered, or redeemed. They think that God no longer thinks they are worth pursuing to deliver them.

But Scripture is clear — it is God’s will to deliver humanity from evil. His will is still in the Bible, and it has not changed. Galatians 1 is still in the bible, saying that our Lord Jesus Christ gave Himself for our sins that He might deliver us and that this is according to the will of our God and Father.

Jesus, Himself said in John 3:16:
“For God so loves the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Even after Jesus was resurrected from the dead, He did not change what He said to Nicodemus in John 3:16. Scripture still tells us today that God so loves the world, which means all of humanity regardless of gender, race, denomination, etc. God loves humanity, and it is His will for humanity to be delivered.

The gospel is this — Scripture says it is God’s will that people are delivered from the grip of evil in this present age…
And Jesus Himself said that Scripture could not be broken.
Therefore — whoever you are, regardless of your past or present, God wills for you to be delivered.
God wants not just to be your God but to be your Father as well — He who will love you more than you love yourself.
