Experts and analysts can only do so much forecasting of what will happen in the areas and fields they are learned on but even with years of experience and all the amount of knowledge in this world, they can still make mistakes. Forecasts can still miss the mark. Worldly knowledge can still fail.
Not the Lord God because He who is outside time hears all, sees all and knows all. He has already seen the future and He knows the traps and dangers and risks in every step.
As the Good Shepherd who only wants what’s best for His flock, He has already gone ahead and cleared the path. He has already defeated the enemies against you. He has already made the crooked places straight and broken in pieces and cuts them up the obstacles before you.
This is why He gives His children His word not to fear or be dismayed because He already took care of a bright future for them.
Today, we learn to rest in His finished work and not let our hearts be troubled knowing we have a God who has already gone ahead and made things good for us.
