Promise Keeper

God had promised since days of old that He will be the God of families.

“At the same time,” says the Lord, “I will be the God of all families of Israel, and they shall be My people.”

Jeremiah 31:1

This promise of being the God of families comes with the promise of protection for them who turn to Him and their dwelling.

Psalm 91:10
No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

Salvation is individual but the heart of our God is also about saving a household where a child of His is.

Acts 16:31
So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

One believer in a household sanctifies the household and makes it a target for the salvation of the Lord.
