Proverbs 2:6 – For the Lord Gives Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding

For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Proverbs 2:6

Ask of God wisdom and He will give liberally and without reproach.

James 1:5

When we really come to think about it, many of the struggles we experience (ie. financial issues, career flops, relational breakdowns, etc) come from a lack of wisdom and yet God had already given us His wisdom in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 1:30) and what we really need to do is ask Him wisdom to get out of our financial ruts, to succeed in our careers, to mend broken relationships, to name a few.The word of God says “if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” (James 1:5)
