Day 5: My God, the Way Maker, Miracle Worker and Promise Keeper
In times like what we are experiencing right now, it is easy to feel alone, helpless and hopeless. But be of good cheer, child of God, for we have a Father – the way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper and light in the darkness, who’s always with us, working in us and through us. We’ll get through this any circumstance and situation together with Him!
If today, you’re feeling alone: know and believe that God promised His children to be the Father to the fatherless. He is constantly looking after you, taking care of you and your needs. He’s looking at your best interests, and He has the best intentions for your life – to give you a future!
A father to the fatherless…
Psalm 68:5-6
God sets the lonely in families, leading out the prisoners with singing.
If today, you’re feeling helpless: know and believe that God promised His children to be the way maker, the One fighting the battles on their behalf. Because of His love, you are to fear not then, for the battle is the Lord’s. His plans are to prosper you and not to harm you; He is an ever-present help in times of your need. All you need to do is call on Him and cast your cares upon Him.
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7
If today, you’re feeling hopeless: know and believe that God is the source of all hope; He is hope personified. In His presence, hopelessness is swallowed up. And remember His promise: for those who hope in the Lord, their strength is renewed; they will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.
Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
