Day 2: With God, Waiting Time is Never Wasted Time!

Instead of despair, be of good cheer and know that God is always on your side. Despite times when prayers go unanswered or seemed taking longer time for them to come to pass, realize that God’s timing may not always match with your timing – and that’s okay; always trust in His perfect timing. I take solace in knowing that with His infinite wisdom and foreknowledge, He sees what’s ahead of us and knows what’s best for us – and everything in our future is good!

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Romans 8:28 NKJV

There are times when we pray and we don’t immediately get the answers to our prayers. Could it be that we are not ready yet for what we’re praying for? Could it be that much more are in store for us, and yet we’re only praying limited prayers? By faith, know that He is able, willing and faithful to answer your prayers!

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us…

While waiting for those answers, be encouraged in the truth that our God loves to hear prayers and He loves to answer them, too. But sometimes, it takes time or the answer takes a rather different but much better form. Continue to believe, push on, and never lose hope. The song by Danny Gokey titled Haven’t Seen It Yet encapsulates the very essence of what we’ve been discussing here.

Have you been praying and you still have no answers?
