Day 15: The Lord Has Given This Pandemic Defeated Into Our Hands
“Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” “Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.”
1 Samuel 17:45, 47 (NKJV)
The enemy’s strategy is to bring you into the realm of senses to create fear because fear empowers him.
Goliath is a picture of the enemy who shows off armor, sword, spear and javelin to create fear.
Until today, the enemy uses the same strategy. He engages in the realm of senses to preoccupy you with things in the visible.
In today’s context, he keeps you focused on bad news and on death tolls instead of the countless others who are safe or have recovered. He keeps you occupied on several things all at once so you won’t have time to meditate on the truth that has never changed for over two thousand years — death has been defeated at the cross by our Lord Jesus.
David (whose name means beloved) is a picture of us. Like David, we need to remember that our victory was never on swords and spears but in Him who already defeated all our enemies a long time ago — AT THE CROSS — and He will give the enemy into our hands.
So, we stand on the victory ground paid for and drenched by the blood of Jesus and know that this pandemic will be given into our hands defeated by our Lord JESUS.
Prayer for Today:
Father, thank You that You have given us a Champion in the Person of Your Son, Jesus.
Jesus, thank You that You already defeated the enemy a long time ago. You have disempowered Satan and his army. Jesus, we stand in Your victory at the cross and we declare that the battle against this pandemic is Yours and You will give it into our hands defeated and shamed by Your blood. Amen!
Faith in Action:
1) Remember who your Champion is who fights for you and declare:
The battle is the Lord’s and He will give this pandemic defeated into our hands.
2) Invite other Christ-believers to do the 21-Day Challenge. Let us build an army of well-abled and spiritually-ready soldiers in this battle. The more spiritual soldiers we have, the faster the victory manifests in the physical realm. #21daystovictory
3) Come back every day, be refreshed and motivated, in a community of like-minded Christ-believers. Share your experiences and testimonies with others, as we win this fight!
